NVISION is an award-winning hybrid digital marketing agency combining execution with strategy, providing a full-spectrum service from web design & development to digital and social media marketing. The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for prospecting and closing new business. In addition to lead and opportunity development, the BDM will work closely with the Production & Digital Marketing teams to identify opportunities for growth and spend. The BDM will also serve as the primary contact for the decision-makers and lead the sales process. The BDM will work closely with the CEO, Client Success Managers and other company resources to successfully transition account implementation and management responsibility to them. The BDM will also support the highest level of client satisfaction by working directly with clients to ensure projects meet business requirements and participate with the other team members.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage your leads and drive the full sales cycle from introductory calls to closing deals;
Participate in management meetings and take responsibility for sales improvement initiatives and other assigned action items;
Work with the accounts to grow digital revenue;
Act as support on larger accounts and as account lead on smaller client engagements;
Identifying and soliciting potential clients via telephone calls and walk-ins;
Building and developing a rapport with clients on a daily basis;
Assessing clients’ needs and available resources, then recommending the appropriate goods or services;
Establishing an appropriate position in the sales cycle based on past conversations with the clients
Quotes and proposals as part of a sales presentation to illustrate the features, advantages, and benefits of the product or service
Versatility: As a small team, we all stretch at times, and so this role will get into elements of growth marketing, marketing strategist, product marketing, field marketing, etc. from time to time. A great opportunity for someone with range/breadth to their skillset.

Drive Sales activity to achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales and/or marketing in an agency setting
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Excellent selling and negotiation skills
Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills
Time management & strong organization/prioritization skills
An understanding of information architecture principles and the crossover with SEO
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing environment
Team player - knows when & how to collaborate
Hard-working and customer service oriented
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to collaborate in a team environment
Good product knowledge
Ability to multi-task
Ability to manage up
OTHER CONSIDERATIONS
Experience working on e-commerce sites and varying industries
Design and copywriting skills are a bonus

While NVISION services clients all over Canada, this position is at the NVISION headquarters in downtown Markham. Our staff works under a hybrid model, with the flexibility to work from home or the office. You may be required to go into the office occasionally, depending on your role and NVISION operational needs.
