Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Manager in the North Vancouver office, the successful Civil or Survey Engineering Technologist will be involved in resource and municipal engineering projects and will possess a strong background working with a motivated and dynamic team of professionals. Successful applicants will participate in the provision of engineering services from proposal stage through planning, design, construction, and commissioning of projects. Applicants should note that field work is an integral part of this position, and they should be prepared to work in adverse environments and conditions. 

Major Job Functions:

• 
  Preparing engineering drawings


• 
  Coordinating project drawings and reports


• 
  Surveying (total station and RTK)


• 
  Construction Layout


• 
  Site and construction inspections


• 
  Project management and contract administration

Education and Experience:

• 
  Diploma in Civil or Survey Engineering Technology or equivalent experience


• 
  Position can vary from new graduate to senior level experience.  Tasks will be assigned according to level of experience


• 
  Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or other drafting software
