Description

Job Title: Clerk - Materials

Job Summary

The Clerk – Materials is responsible for assisting in the tracking, handling and documentation of materials within the facility.  

Responsibility

Maintain accurate and up to date records of inventory levels

Assist in performing regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy of products

Assist in receiving, inspecting and documenting of materials movement

Update and maintain standard work instructions for the materials department

Update and maintain the purchase order files

Complete, file and maintain NAFTA certification

Academic/Educational Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, some college or university in supply chain management is an asset

Required Skills/Experience

1-2 years of experience in manufacturing setting, including inventory management

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
