Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Vancouver, BC

Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Salary: $125,000–$145,000, depending on experience and qualifications
About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established boutique law firm in Vancouver, is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced real estate professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and working closely with lawyers and clients in a collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of commercial real estate experience and be comfortable managing files with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial real estate acquisitions and sales, including closing agendas, closing documentation, and document books
Handle land assembly and subdivision matters, including Section 219 covenants, easements, rights of way, undertaking letters, and complex Land Title Office registrations
Assist with commercial real estate financing transactions for both lender and borrower clients
Prepare mortgages and related security documentation
Manage bulk strata lot closings for new developments, including information packages and closing documents
Conduct and report on real estate due diligence searches
Review and interpret purchase and sale agreements
Communicate with sales centres, purchasers' solicitors, clients, realtors, and other stakeholders
Complete LOTA and PTT reporting requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal within a law firm
Post-secondary education in Paralegal Studies or equivalent commercial real estate experience
Strong knowledge of commercial real estate procedures and transactions
Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and manage objectives with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and client-service skills
Proficiency with myLTSA, Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, and common real estate-related software
