We are currently seeking a Community Justice Worker to join our Bail Verification & Supervision Program Team.
This position will be the main contact for the Bail Verification and Supervision Program for the Court House to receive referrals to the program.
This position will provide information regarding program services and submit required information to the Courts.
This position will review referred individuals to the program and assess eligibility based on criteria outlined by the Ministry as well as program capacity.
This position will be responsible for collecting data and information necessary to complete and submit statistical reports.
This position will work with community stakeholders and partners to provide access to services.
This role will work closely with the Program Team, JHS Case Management Staff, the Courts including Duty Counsel and the Crown Attorney’s Office, Defense Counsel, and local correctional institutions to support the program objectives as outlined by the Ministry of Attorney General.
