Position Overview:

Construction Superintendent - Renovation Project Experience

Low Rise Concrete and Wood -frame Residential and One level commercial, one level parkade.

Our client is looking for the needle in a haystack Superintendent with a strong sense of leadership within the role. You will be primarily focused on the day -to -day management of a technically detailed and design -sensitive renovation project.

The successful candidate will oversee all on -site activities, coordinate with trades and consultants, and ensure that safety, quality, and schedule objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on -site construction activities for a complex renovation project.
  
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and consultants in collaboration with the Project Manager.
  
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental standards in accordance with WorkSafeBC and site -specific requirements.
  
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress reporting using Pro -core.
  
• Facilitate weekly look ahead schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
  
• Conduct regular site coordination meetings, promptly addressing issues as they arise.
  
• Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders.
  
• Foster a respectful, inclusive site culture and provide mentorship to junior team members.
  

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a Site Superintendent or similar role, preferably on renovation, tenant improvement, or architectural upgrade projects.
  
• This is a great opportunity for a junior Superintendent or person with related experience to step into a multi -faceted project.
  
• Experience coordinating structural, mechanical, and electrical scopes within occupied or operational buildings is an asset.
  
• Strong understanding of renovation -specific challenges including demolition, phasing, and working in sensitive or high -traffic environments.
