We are looking to add a Contracts Administrator to our Stanley Park project, located in beautiful Downtown Vancouver.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop process to ensure compliance with contract requirements;
Develop and implement change management procedures;
Oversee the identification of claims mitigation strategies;
Oversee subcontract management;
Oversee the negotiation of change orders, variations, and change issues;
Ensure timely and accurate contractual correspondence;
Oversee pricing of change and delay issues;
Manage preparation of narratives and entitlement documentation;
Oversee identification and tracking of contract and deliverables;
Identify and implement record keeping procedures to validate potential changes;
Manage training of staff on the implementation of contract processes and procedures;
Maintain the change management issue logs and provision of summary reports.
Requirements
Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant discipline;
Strong knowledge of construction law;
Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction industry;
Experience dealing with major change/claims management or dispute resolution issues in a major project;
Excellent command of computer software including Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, BlueBeam, etc.
Strong business acumen;
Bilingualism, French and English, would be considered an asset.
