  • Review financial statements, working papers, and tax filings prepared by team members, ensuring technical accuracy and quality.

  • Coach, mentor, and support the development of staff and senior accountants through guidance, review, and collaboration.

  • Manage engagement workflow, timelines, and resources to ensure smooth and sustainable delivery.

  • Apply sound professional judgment in addressing technical matters, engagement issues, and client discussions.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to enhancements in tools, templates, and methodologies.

  • Support firm initiatives, knowledge sharing, and business development activities in a manner aligned with interest and experience.

  • Model firm values and contribute positively to team culture, collaboration, and accountability.

What you bring to the table:

  • CPA designation in good standing, with 3-5+ years of progressive experience in public accounting.

  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, assurance methodologies and/or income tax rules and regulations.

  • Proven ability to lead engagements, including planning, execution, workflow management, and high-quality file review.

  • Experience mentoring and coaching team members, supporting their development, and reviewing work with a focus on quality and learning.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and oversee multiple engagements simultaneously.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.

  • Strong proficiency with CaseWare, TaxPrep, and related assurance and tax platforms, or the ability to quickly adapt to new systems.

  • Bilingualism in French/English is considered an asset.

What’s in it for you?

  • Meaningful career growth through structured performance management, ongoing feedback, and opportunities to advance.

  • A competitive total rewards package, including paid overtime, comprehensive benefits, and RRSP matching.

  • Flexible work arrangements that empower you to balance life and career with confidence.

  • Summer hours so you can make the most of the season.

  • Enhanced protection benefits, including life, dependent life, critical illness, and accidental death & dismemberment coverage.

  • A Health Care Spending Account to support your individual wellness needs.

  • Annual fitness reimbursement to encourage a healthy lifestyle.

  • Employee & Family Assistance Program (EFAP) offering confidential support whenever you need it.

  • Generous vacation entitlements that grow with your tenure.

  • Parental leave top‑up program to support you through life’s major milestones.

  • Paid sick days and bereavement leave to give you time when it matters most.

  • Client and employee referral incentives recognizing the value of your network.

  • Firm‑sponsored social events throughout the year that bring our teams together.

  • Paid time off for board service and volunteer activities, reflecting our commitment to community impact.
