Développeur Pipeline Senior (Houdini)/ Senior Pipeline Developer (Houdini)

Le développeur pipeline Houdini collabore avec les responsables du pipeline pour construire un pipeline Houdini couvrant le lookdev, l'éclairage, le CFX et les FX, en utilisant USD et Solaris comme fondation. Il ou elle met à profit son expérience en production pour créer des flux de travail intuitifs et auto-documentants, pouvant être rapidement adoptés par des utilisateurs de niveaux de compétence variés, et qui fonctionnent de manière efficace sur des scènes de grande envergure et de complexité extrême.

• Résoudre des problèmes complexes dans le domaine des flux de travail du pipeline Houdini
• Écrire du code Python de haute qualité, facile à maintenir et bien testé
• Communiquer avec les artistes pour identifier les zones d'inefficacité et aider à recueillir leurs exigences
• Contribuer à la rédaction de briefs techniques et de documentation pour les utilisateurs

• Passion pour se tenir au courant des dernières fonctionnalités de Houdini
• Plus de 8 ans d'expérience dans l'écriture de code pour le pipeline Houdini en utilisant Python
• Solides compétences en communication écrite et orale
• Talent avéré pour concevoir des flux de travail intuitifs et conviviaux pour les artistes, sans sacrifier la fonctionnalité
• Compréhension des modèles de programmation orientée objet
• À l'aise avec Git et les tests unitaires
• Désir d'explorer et de comprendre le fonctionnement interne des systèmes complexes
• Une expérience en tant qu'artiste FX utilisant Houdini en production est un plus
• Expérience pratique avec OpenUSD / Solaris est un atout
• Expérience avec PDG / TOPs est préférée

• Solve complex problems in the domain of Houdini pipeline workflows
• Write high quality Python code that is easy to maintain and is well-tested 
• Communicate with artists to identify areas of inefficiency and help gather their requirements
• Contribute to technical briefs and user documentation

• Passion for staying on top of latest features in Houdini
• 8+ years experience writing Houdini pipeline code using python
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated talent for designing intuitive, artist-friendly workflows without sacrificing functionality
• Understanding of object-oriented programming patterns
• Comfortable with git and unit testing
• Desire to probe and understand the inner workings of complex systems
• Background as an FX artist using Houdini in production preferred
• Hands-on experience with OpenUSD / Solaris a plus
• Experience with PDG / TOPs preferred
