Employment Type: Permanent
Location: FinDev Canada headquarters is in downtown Montreal. For the right candidate, Ottawa or Toronto will be considered, with the flexibility to work under a hybrid model, with a current requirement of three in-office days per week (subject to change).
Compensation Details
Reporting to the VP & Chief Legal & Enterprise Integration Officer, the Director, Legal Transactions works closely with colleagues in Investments, Impact Enablement, other advisory teams and across the organization in understanding the client’s needs, structuring solutions which address those needs, assessing risk and recommending risk mitigation strategies, as appropriate.
The Director and their team are expected to maintain and develop excellent client and partner relationships to support the growth of FinDev Canada’s portfolio and deliver timely and insightful advice to the business. As part of a fast-growing organization, and as part of the leadership team, the successful candidate will be expected to play a key role in the evolution and continuous improvement of FinDev Canada’s practices and processes.
