Electrical Technician

Contributing in this role is :

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures.


• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electromechanical equipment, motors, and control systems.


• Configure, modify, and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and robotic systems.


• Interpret and update electrical and electronic diagrams and complete technical service reports.


• Recommend measures to optimize machine efficiency and performance.


• Perform other related duties as required.

What we are looking for

• College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, or an equivalent field.


• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.


• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLCs), such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Omron.


• Ability to quickly identify the source of complex equipment failures and determine whether they are electrical or mechanical in nature.


• Ability to interpret complex electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.


• Knowledge of variable frequency drives (VFDs), servo motors, and motion control systems.


• Strong knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electrical distribution systems, and high-power electronic components.
