As a Ship Repair Estimator, you will assess project scopes, prepare detailed cost estimates, and contribute to successful project deliveries. Your expertise will shape competitive proposals and ensure accurate project reflections.


 


Responsibilities:



  • Prepare detailed cost estimates.

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for ship repair projects.

  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather project information.

  • Review project specifications, blueprints, and other documentation to understand project scope.

  • Analyze and manage project risks for reliable estimates.

  • Communicate with clients to clarify requirements and provide expert guidance.

  • Maintain a database of costs for ship repair activities.

  • Support bidding process with competitive proposals.


 


Requirements:



  • Canadian citizenship or authorization to work in Canada.

  • Experience in ship repair estimating or related maritime field.

  • Background in marine engineering or naval architecture advantageous.

  • Strong understanding of ship repair processes and materials.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

  • Proficiency in estimating software.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
