As an Event Security Guard, you will be the face of safety at various events, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment for guests, staff, performers, and vendors. You will work closely with event organizers, emergency services, and fellow security professionals to ensure smooth event operations.

Responsibilities for Event Security Guard

• Provide a visible security presence at events and venues


• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas


• Conduct access control and credential verification


• Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow


• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a professional manner


• Enforce venue policies and event regulations


• Provide exceptional customer service to attendees, vendors, and staff


• Complete incident reports and required documentation accurately


• Support emergency evacuations and safety procedures when required


• Communicate effectively with event staff, emergency responders, and security teams


• Maintain professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality at all times

Qualifications for Event Security Guard

• Legal authorization to work in Canada


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Ability to remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments


• Strong observation and problem-solving abilities


• First Aid/CPR Certification is considered an asset


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods


• Previous security, customer service, or event experience is considered an asset


• Reliable transportation is preferred
