Pinchin is offering a 6-month opportunity with possibility of a contract extension or full-time position based on performance and business needs within our Hazardous Materials (HAZ) and Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) team. You’ll support effective worker exposure and workplace monitoring, safety inspections, and audits, and tackle challenges like indoor air quality, Legionella, microbial contamination and infection control. You will assist in developing hygiene, health, and safety documentation, prepare technical reports, and liaise with clients to ensure their needs and goals are met, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in a professional consulting environment.

Pinchin is seeking a Field Technician to join our HAZ/IEQ team in Sudbury. The replacement role reports to the Team Leader.
Department Overview
Pinchin’s Hazardous Materials (HAZ) and Indoor Environmental (IEQ) team helps clients identify, assess, and manage risks related to hazardous building materials and indoor air quality (IAQ). The team conducts field investigations, air and material sampling, inspections, and oversight of abatement activities to support regulatory compliance, occupant safety, and building performance. Working closely with clients, contractors, and regulators, the HAZ/IEQ team delivers practical, scienceâbased solutions that protect people, buildings, and communities.
