We’re looking for a Senior Accountant (also labelled as Financial Reporting Specialist) to join our Finance team and own internal reporting across our operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, identifying trends, and building accurate reporting structures that help drive operational and strategic decision-making. You’ll play an important role in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, KPI tracking, and business intelligence reporting across corporate, branch, and manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses
Perform month-end financial reconciliations and support reporting adjustments
Support budgeting processes across corporate, branch, and manufacturing operations
Prepare interim financial forecasts to identify cash flow or profitability risks early
Compile AP/AR status reports to support debt and line of credit compliance
Complete financial reporting including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries
Conduct cost and revenue analysis across branch, warehouse, and manufacturing locations
Monitor financial KPIs and support scenario planning for new products, services, or acquisitions
Track and analyze distribution and manufacturing performance across product lines
Assist with annual audit preparation, reporting requests, and documentation support
Prepare pro forma reports and financial models for new business initiatives and expansion opportunities

Kick off the week by preparing weekly bank reconciliations and financial reporting updates
Review revenue, cost, and profitability trends across distribution and manufacturing lines
Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives across multiple business units
Prepare leadership reporting packages and financial insights for decision-making
What You Bring:
3 to 5 years of experience in financial reporting, financial analysis, or business performance reporting
Post-secondary education in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively
Bonus Points
Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central
CPA Designation or working towards
