Kalco’s scope of work is commercial drywall (incl. seam tape and texture), metal framing, insulation

 and acoustic (T-bar and various sound acoustic application).

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years as a Foreman in the Commercial Drywall Industry

Location of work: commercial job sites in Regina and southern Sask. 

Duties / Responsibilities 
 

·        Supervision of all employees assigned to crew 

·        Generate high quality work

·        Organize and coordinate all of the project materials, equipment and employee scheduling

·        Uphold safe work practices, procedures, and company policies 

·        Ensure that job runs smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule 

·        Communication with Project Manager -- job status, supplies, progress, etc. 

·       Communication / relations with on-site contacts, other trades, etc. 

·       Instruct & participate in on-site work as required 

MUST HAVE LAYOUT EXPERIENCE

Skills / Abilities 

·        Able to read schematics and architectural drawings 

·        Proficient at problem solving & critical thinking 

·       Proficient with hand and power tools common to specific trade 

·        Must have valid driver’s license 

·        Must be willing to work out of town

·        Capable of working at heights: on ladders, scaffold, and with aerial lifts
