Freight Handler

Midland Transport is currently seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Freight Handler to join our Moncton Temperature Facility. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift and other material handling equipment, as well as loading, unloading, sorting, and handling freight in a fast-paced environment. You will help ensure shipments move efficiently through our terminal while maintaining accuracy, safety, and high service standards.

Shift available:
Saturday, Sunday (0800-2000)
Monday, Friday (0800-1700)

•    Setting up the dock for efficient operations
•    Safely and efficiently loading and unloading freight, both manually and using equipment
•    Communicating with other Dock Workers and supervisors to ensure safe and organized loading and unloading
•    Maintaining a clean, functional dock and work area
•    Flexible to assist in other areas if required
 

•    Education Required: Minimum High School Diploma
•    A minimum of 2 years of relevant dock/warehouse experience
•    Proven forklift operation experience in a warehouse setting
•    Strong commitment to working safely in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to collaborate positively with others to achieve common goals
•    Proficient in reading and writing to complete required paperwork accurately
•    Efficient, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining high productivity
•    Basic math and organizational skills are required
•    Ability and willingness to work in a temperature-controlled facility, with temperatures ranging from 42°F to -15°F
