Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a part of the Mobile Maintenance Team! You will be responsible for ensuring proper maintenance protocols are adhered to and practiced in accordance with fueling and servicing of mining equipment. . You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Perform all minor field services including preventative maintenance, greasing in inspections on all applicable field equipment; 

  • Fuel and verify lubrication levels on all applicable field equipment; 

  • Identifying and reporting part requirements and supplies as required;  

  • Preparing electronic service reports and documentation in an accurate and timely manner; 

  • Ensure safe and efficient maintenance of equipment and identify any potential risks; 

  • Properly follow company’s policies and Ontario Health & Safety Regulations for safe working procedures and environment.  


  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED; 

  • Minimum of three years’ experience as a fuel truck operator servicing heavy equipment, with an understanding of lube requirements for equipment components; 

  • Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices; 

  • Experience working in a remote mining environment is an asset. 

 

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine Site;

  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
