Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Provide superior and efficient pharmacy patient care.
- Apply full scope of practice as a pharmacy technician in Manitoba.
- Practice in compliance with federal, provincial, and professional regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other health professionals to ensure accurate prescription medication preparation, distribution and patient care.
- Ensure patient safety by engaging in quality assurance programs.
- Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow.
- Manage accurate dispensary data, documentation, and inventory.
- Manage and perform compliance packaging and compounding of pharmaceutical products.
- Manage third party billing submissions and reconciliation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in Manitoba in good standing.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, prioritization, and efficiency skills.
- Strong critical thinking abilities and a dependable work ethic.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Kroll Pharmacy dispensing software is an asset.
