We’re looking for a knowledgeable, motivated Flat Roofer to join our Production Department and help shape the future of roofing and sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Install/ replace various flat roofing systems


• Conduct/ participate in Job Site Safety Meetings/ Toolbox talks


• Perform all work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations


• Remove existing roofing shingles/ materials of all types, as well as underlay/ tar paper


• Install/ replace plywood sheeting as required


• Maintain personal and team safety on jobsites


• Conduct job site clean-up as required.


• Work with small and large roofing crews in a teamwork environment.


• Conduct and actively participate in Toolbox Talks, Hazard Assessments, Site Inspections, and Personal Protective Equipment Inspections.


• Perform all work in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.


• Maintain personal and team safety on job sites.


• Set up scaffolding, guardrails, or other fall protection systems to provide a safe work environment.


• Must use protective equipment, devices, and clothing as required by the regulations.


• Must ensure that his/her ability to work without risk to their health or safety, or to the health or safety of any other person, is not impaired by alcohol, drugs, or other causes.


• Must report to the supervisor or employer any unsafe act or behavior.


• Any other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Graduation from a standard vocational or high school.


• Experience in roofing operations.


• Considerable knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and methods utilized in roof repair and installation.


• Considerable knowledge of the hazards and safety requirements of the trade


• Knowledge of various roofing materials and standard specifications for different roof types.


• Ability to remove and install roofs.


• Ability to erect necessary rigging.


• Ability to work at heights and on flat and inclined surfaces.


• Ability to climb ladders and set up work requirements in a safe manner.


• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.


• Skill in the use of appropriate tools and equipment.
