General Manager - Manufacturing

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the Ottawa manufacturing operation, with accountability for P&L and site performance


• Partner closely with production and operational leaders to ensure safety, quality, service and productivity objectives are achieved


• Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiencies, workflow and overall operational performance


• Review operational and financial results, using data to identify trends, challenges and opportunities


• Oversee pricing and market-related activities in partnership with the Finance team


• Develop, coach and support the facility’s management team while building accountability across the operation


• Ensure resources, labour and production capacity are aligned with business requirements


• Work cross-functionally with Finance and other areas of the organization to support business planning and decision-making


• Maintain a visible presence within the facility and stay connected to both day and afternoon shift operations


• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help position the Ottawa operation for its next stage of growth

• Progressive leadership experience within manufacturing operations, ideally at the Plant Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager or similar level


• Experience with P&L ownership, budgeting, operational planning and performance management


• A strong track record of improving manufacturing processes, productivity and operational efficiencies


• Experience leading and developing managers and operational teams


• Strong commercial judgment, including exposure to pricing, costing and market considerations


• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
