General Manager | Private-Pay Senior Living

• Location: Metro Vancouver, BC (on-site)


• Type: Full-time, permanent


• Base salary: $100,000 to $145,000 per year


• Bonus: Performance-based, with total comp potential of $200K+


• Reports to: Ownership

The opportunity

A newer, privately owned senior care community is looking for a GM to lead its growth phase.

You'll build the operation: census, systems, budget, team and culture. You'll work directly with ownership, with no corporate layers in between.

The group is growing too. Strong performers have room to grow with it.

What you'll own

• Growth: drive occupancy through sales and marketing


• P&L: own the budget, from forecast to NOI


• People: hire, lead and keep a strong team


• Systems: build the SOPs and reporting that scale


• Compliance: keep licensing and safety airtight


• Residents and families: be the trusted face on the floor


• Strategy: shape the long-term plan with ownership

What you bring

• A track record as a GM or Executive Director in senior living


• Private-pay experience 


• Full P&L accountability, with results you can point to


• Lease-up or occupancy growth wins (a big plus)


• A hospitality mindset and premium service standards


• Builder energy: you create structure where there isn't any yet


• Working knowledge of BC care and licensing regulations
