Make an impact with our Regional Human Capital team as a Generalist. As a trusted advisor, you’ll implement and support strategies, programs and processes that attract, develop, train and retain our firm’s talent. This opportunity is a 12 month contract.

Responsibilities
Conduct exit and stay interviews, managing terminations as appropriate
Maintain and update employee records, including manual files, payroll, and HRIS systems
Administer promotions, transfers, job classifications, compensation, and annual performance evaluations
Conduct compensation analysis to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity, providing recommendations for offers
Facilitate talent roundtables to support succession planning, career development, and workforce planning, playing a key role in the talent management process
Provide guidance and support to team members and business leaders on various HR matters, including policies, compliance, employee relations, problem resolution, total rewards, and performance management
Prepare and deliver presentations for internal business purposes, facilitating workgroups, training sessions, and meetings
Compile and analyze ad hoc statistical reports, identifying areas for improvement and making data-driven recommendations
Assist in the facilitation of learning and development programs
Contribute to key Human Capital year-end processes by developing workbooks and analysis to support Regional Human Capital Managers in executing critical initiatives
Collaborate with the Regional Human Capital Managers to navigate HR processes and initiatives, including performance reviews, employee relations, engagement, talent management, and compensation
Partner with HC colleagues to drive efficiencies and enhance processes across the team
Maintain flexibility to travel to regional offices (Burlington, St. Catharines, Welland, Waterloo and Cambridge)
Skills and Experience
Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field, with an HR specialization
Completion of, or actively working towards, a CPHR/CHRP designation
3–4 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to generalist responsibilities
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, business leaders, and HR colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience navigating and administering HRIS systems
Previous experience in the professional services industry is considered an asset
The annual salary range is $70,000 - $85,000
