Responsibilities for CBSA Transportation Security Guard

• Conduct vehicle inspections and verify the mechanical condition of fleet vehicles


• Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle searches to ensure security and required equipment is onboard


• Perform post-trip cleaning and sanitization of vehicles


• Search individuals and their luggage


• Log and safeguard individuals’ valuables


• Transport individuals, luggage, and personal effects safely and securely


• Maintain custody, control, and safety of individuals during transport


• Ensure compliance with child safety regulations and transportation laws


• Escort individuals between vehicles and designated destinations


• Escort individuals and luggage through airport environments


• Transport and escort individuals to and from facilities such as:


• Confirm departures as part of verification procedures


• Complete and submit required documentation to Shift Supervisors and CBSA


• Ensure proper transfer and documentation of personal property (e.g., valuables, medication)


• Perform additional duties as outlined in the Post Orders

Qualifications for CBSA Transportation Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada


• Have a valid Saskatchewan Security Guard training certificate to obtain your license


• 6 months- 1 year of security experience in a public facing position


• First aid certification - required


• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift 


• Valid full class 5 drivers license and clean driver's abstract


• Ability to obtain a Transport Canada Security Clearance


• Education diploma from Canada.


• Be able to provide  Canadian equivalency documentt, If  the education was done outside Canada 


• This position requires Canadian citizenship or permanent residency due to contractual obligations with our client.
