Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer

The client is looking for a ClaimCenter developer who writes Gosu daily, within the team supporting the Claims department. The role combines new development and operations: production support and maintenance are explicitly part of the mandate. The person takes part in functional and technical analysis, work breakdown and estimation, as well as code reviews and Agile ceremonies. The mention of code quality validation with more experienced resources positions the role at the intermediate/senior contributor level, not technical leadership. A Java, Spring and SQL foundation is expected alongside Guidewire, with a culture of automated testing and continuous integration.

Target candidate: a Guidewire developer with demonstrated Gosu work in ClaimCenter, backed by Java and Spring. The person has handled production support and works with automated tests (GUnit, JUnit or equivalent) in a Jenkins/Maven pipeline.

Requirements

REQUIRED

• Mastery of Gosu and Guidewire ClaimCenter development tools
  
  


• Object-oriented programming, Java and Spring Framework
  
  


• SQL skills
  
  


• Test automation (JUnit/GUnit, JMeter, BDD, Selenium, etc.)
  
  

DESIRED

• Knowledge of AWS
  
  


• Knowledge of Git and GitHub
  
  


• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, etc.)

• Profile whose Guidewire experience is limited to PolicyCenter or BillingCenter, with no demonstrated ClaimCenter work.
  
  


• Business analyst or configurator profile mentioning ClaimCenter without delivered Gosu code.
  
  


• Java/Spring profile with no Guidewire project on the resume.
  
  


• Architect or tech lead profile whose last three engagements include no hands-on development.
