Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer, Data Consistency Controls (DBCC)

Job Description:

• Optimum is seeking a Guidewire InsuranceSuite developer to correct the Data Consistency Checks (DBCC) of the on-premises PolicyCenter, in the context of an upgrade from version 10.2.2 to 10.2.5.
  


• The role involves first correcting the DBCCs (Database-Based Cause Corrections), which include the data and Gosu code addressing root causes, and then performing the PolicyCenter upgrade.
  


• These two tasks are sequential and cannot be carried out simultaneously.
  

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will work within the data model and code, not just in functional analysis.
  


• Correcting the DBCCs is a complex technical task that precludes an analysis-oriented profile.
  


• Expected seniority: intermediate to senior, autonomous in diagnosis and correction.
  


• This should not be confused with a functional analyst, a quality assurance tester, or a data conversion specialist from a legacy system.
