Health Unit Clerk
Golden Door Geriatric Centre is seeking compassionate, organized and detailed-oriented Health Unit Clerk to join our team. Under the supervision of Care Coordinators and Team Leaders, the Health Unit Clerk supports the interdisciplinary healthcare team by coordinating resident admissions, processing physician orders, maintaining resident records, preparing clinical documentation, and ensuring effective communication within the team.

This unionized position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. A security check must be obtained within six months prior to employment.
If you previously worked for another Employer in Manitoba whereby CUPE is the bargaining agent, you may be eligible to mobilize previous service, benefits and entitlements. Please advise your manager within five (5) business days if this applies to you to determine eligibility.
Please note that an employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions across the WRHA legal entity that combine to equal more than 1.0 EFT.
