Are you dedicated to providing exceptional customer service? Do you excel in fast-paced environments? If so, the Red Deer Home Centre presents the perfect opportunity for you! We are currently looking for a casual Home Centre Associate to join our dynamic team. 

Position: Home Centre Associate

Casual: Up to 24 hours per weekPart-time:  24 – 36 hours per week.

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and respond to customer questions 

• Familiarize yourself with our product range

• Stay updated on new product details to ensure comprehensive product knowledge

• Cashier duties; Ensure accurate processing of sale transactions

• Manage time efficiently to complete all special orders and quotes 

• Replenish shelves and contribute to inventory audits

• Assist in merchandise displays

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications:

• Exceptional attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Outstanding customer service and communication skills

• Team player with the ability to work independently

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required

• Applicants must be over 14 years old. (Employment Standards mandates a permit to employ a person aged 14 or under, thus disclosure is required)
