The employee-owned firm is staffed with well over140 experienced architects, designers, project managers, administrative staff, including LEED, Evidence-Based Design and LEAN accredited professionals, many of whom are dedicated to specific market sectors. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist and collaborate directly with Project Manager to execute highly creative, concept-driven interior design projects
Ability to handle interior design projects from start to finish
Prepare renderings and presentation material for client meetings
Prepare complete and detailed construction drawing packages
Source materials, finishes, fixtures and furniture
Assist with project coordination and contract administration
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
University Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
Minimum 3 years professional experience
Proven ability to balance design creativity with client requirements
Must be proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-up, Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency in preparing construction drawings and assist with specifications
Excellent understanding of current building codes, building construction, details and building science
Highly organized and detail oriented; proven track record of meeting project timelines
Strong conceptual, graphic & design skills
Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
Critical thinking, effective problem solving and decision-making skills
Team player, adaptable and has a positive attitude towards learning
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about developing his or her interior design career
Institutional experience in the healthcare, justice, research and sport facility areas of practice
