Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC

Salary Range: $65,000-$75,000 per year

Our client, a well-established downtown Vancouver law firm that focuses on foreclosure, collections, and insolvency matters, are currently seeking an Intermediate Legal Assistant to join their foreclosure department. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess technical skills to manage a high volume of work effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening, maintaining, and closing foreclosure files.


• Conducting LTSA searches and managing court filings.


• Assisting in the preparation of foreclosure petitions, affidavits, and other legal documents.


• Coordinating and monitoring the service of documents.


• Preparing billing statements and invoices.


• Supporting foreclosure paralegals with file management and administrative tasks.


• Organizing and managing documents within client files.


• Performing general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant or Paralegal program.


• Litigation experience, preferably in foreclosure or collections.


• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.


• Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently and take initiative.


• Capacity to handle a high volume of work and meet deadlines.


• Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills.


• Proficiency with technology, including legal software and document management systems.
