This is a temporary position ending in October 2027.
Reporting to the Manager – Inventory Control and Services, the Inventory Supervisor is responsible for planning, analyzing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure service targets are met while maintaining financial efficiency. This role supports inventory forecasting, monitors inventory performance, and collaborates with stakeholders to ensure material availability and effective utilization of assets. Provides analytical guidance and mentorship to Junior Inventory Analysts, Inventory Analysts and Senior Inventory Analyst.
You will analyze inventory data to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels supporting operational and project requirements.
You will monitor inventory performance including stock levels, obsolescence, and service targets, and recommend corrective actions.
You will conduct reviews of project and operational material requirements and ensure accurate system updates in ERP systems.
You will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders, including Procurement & Category Management (PCM), Commercial Management (CM), Warehouse Operations, and Bus Maintenance teams, to address inventory planning issues, resolve operational challenges, and support service requirements through effective communication and data‑driven insights.
You will identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and develop strategies for disposition or optimization as well as prepare and present reports, dashboards, and analysis related to inventory performance and planning.
You will support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory processes, systems, and reporting.
You will assist in maintaining accurate inventory parameters and master data within ERP systems.
You will participate in cross-functional meetings to align supply planning with business needs.
You will review and monitor administrative procedures and methods associated with managing the TTC’s inventory assets.
