Job Description - Java/React Developer

Partner: IBM Customer: scotia Price point: 65 CAD/hr Duration: 8 months Start date: December end/Jan JD: Fullstack - Java / React Developer As a Full Stack Developer you will develop end-to-end solutions based on responsive Web / Mobile User Interface and Enterprise Integration technologies, participating in the design, development, testing and deployment process. In this role, successful candidates will : â¢ï ï ï ï â¢ï ï ï ï Work as a member of an Agile Application Development team to build custom applications and frameworks â¢ï ï ï ï Work with Agile Sprint team members to design, code and unit test â¢ï ï ï ï Participate in Sprint backlog planning â¢ï ï ï ï Learn new technologies in support of application development and API Economy, including API design and development, Microservices, Cloud Native Development, DevOps, and React. Required Technical and Professional Expertise â¢ï ï ï ï 7+ years of experience developing Java / J2EE / Spring applications â¢ï ï ï ï Experience with REST / SOAP service design / development â¢ï ï ï ï 5+ years of front end development â¢ï ï ï ï Experience with web development and exposure to React â¢ï ï ï ï Experience with UI testing frameworks such as Selenium â¢ï ï ï ï 5+ years of experience working in a true Agile & DevOps environment â¢ï ï ï ï Experience of developing custom microservices applications using SpringBoot, Docker, and Kubernetes â¢ï ï ï ï Knowledge of architectural, design, programming and testing techniques â¢ï ï ï ï Experience building applications for cloud Azure, Azure SQL. â¢ï ï ï ï Fluent in English oral and written
