Journeyman Concrete Finisher

Position Overview

We are currently seeking Journeyman Concrete Finishers with strong experience in sidewalks, curbs, and wet finishing to join our team asap. 

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in the trade or completion of a formal apprenticeship


• Prepare work areas by leveling and grading surfaces


• Set and align formwork for sidewalks and curbs


• Mix, pour, and spread concrete to required specifications


• Perform wet finishing using hand and power tools (trowels, floats, edging, broom finish)


• Apply finishes and cut control joints to prevent cracking
  


• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain clean work areas


• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment

• CSTS 2020


• WHMIS 2015
