Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add skilled gardeners/planting leads to our team in Bedford! We have done many premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects in NS like Argyle and Spring Garden streets, Queen’s Marque and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck. We have positions available within our construction and our maintenance division ranging from Labourers to Crew Leaders.

You have the following skills/qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills – verbal & written


• Gardening, planting and property maintenance experience
  


• Experience equipment operating (excavator & skid) 


• Plant knowledge and identification


• Horticulturist Trade Certification is considered an asset


• Ability to read site plans is considered an asset


• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation- at times may be required to drive company vehicle and tow trailer

Who will be on your Team? What will you do?

Day-to-day you will be working on a crew of 2-4 people to complete small-large size jobs on a variety of residential and commercial properties. Duties will include:

• Gardening and weeding


• Planting, watering and maintaining flower and shrub beds


• Planting and pruning trees and shrubs


• Installation of flower beds


• Laying sod


• Mulching


• Grading soil


• Loading and unloading materials as required
  

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift


• Monday-Friday

• Hourly Compensation $20-$27 per hour (experience based)


• Full Time work – including winter time work
