As an important member of our Business Development team, you will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies by:
Creatively identifying vertical market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria
Maintaining and building a proprietary database of industry contacts
Developing and conducting prospecting campaigns through email, and outbound calling
Working in a team environment with Senior Business Development Associates to ensure the smooth transition to the later stages of the process as appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate Business or Marketing Degree preferred
1 year or less Software Sales experience preferred
Previous experience with Salesforce CRM beneficial
Basic financial literacy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated, hands-on attitude with a sense of urgency towards driving sales and marketing lead volumes to generate a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills
Salary Range:
$50,000 -$70,000
Commission: This position is commission eligible
Other compensation: This position is eligible to participate in the discretionary company bonus plan.
