About the Role:
The Logistics Administrator is responsible for daily domestic shipping, receiving, and storage operations for Charter and its clients. This is a blended role consisting of approximately 70% administrative duties and 30% hands-on warehouse support, preparing physical orders, and managing paperwork while providing strong administrative support to our sales, project management, and order administration teams to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for third party logistics, tracking and updating of IT resources, coordinating and assigning courier vendors based on customer demands and service requirements for our domestic shipments
Request domestic shipping quotes and resolve discrepancies between quotes and invoices
Work closely with multiple departments and customers to identify and report trends, resolve issues/escalations, implement best practices, reduce costs, and drive project deliverables
Communicate and maintain standard operating procedures while driving quality and adherence across the organization
Manage warehouse located in Burnaby, BC including assets, project hardware, and storage
Organize and store shipments until outgoing order requests are received
Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment; assemble crates, pack items into boxes/pallets, and affix tracking labels or shipping instructions
Conduct regular inventory audits and physical counts across both warehouse and office environments
Maintain and facilitate relationships with suppliers, couriers/freight providers
Required Qualifications and Experience:
At least 2 years' experience with shipping/receiving administration in an office setting
Experience with an order administration system is an asset
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Sound knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word; Dynamics 365 is a bonus!)
Able to quickly learn programs and adapt as needed
Ability to manage multiple priorities and produced results within deadlines
Demonstrated individual judgement with a proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems
Tactful, with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with all stakeholders
Highly organized, with both data and high volumes of communication
Proven accurate data entry and attention to detail
