Wage:                $21.00
Hours of Work: Full-Time (35-40 hours per week)
Location:           Whitehorse, Yukon

Role Summary:

This is an entry level position for someone with career aspirations towards becoming an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice. This position is a great starting point and introduction to the working environments and the maintenance industry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assisting AME’s on aircraft maintenance when needed


• Washing Aircraft


• Towing Aircraft


• Cleaning the hangar when required


• Servicing maintenance vehicles


• Aircraft servicing and support functions such as position equipment, hooking up heat carts, installing engine tents and contamination removal

Must haves:

• Required to maintain a valid Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC), valid drivers license and obtain your Airside Vehicle Operator's Permit 


• Be physically fit (able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively, able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, work in a pressurized environment)


• A strong sense of accountability, honesty, and responsibility in all tasks, supporting the trust that we have built with passengers, partners, and communities


• Enthusiasm for contributing to our unique mission, whether that’s through direct customer service, operational excellence, or behind-the-scenes support


• Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice to haves:

• Previous aviation/mechanical experience considered an asset
