Montreal - US Corporate Tax - Tax Staff

The opportunity

Join EY Montreal’s U.S. Tax practice and have direct involvement in meaningful client work with leading infrastructure, private equity, and multinational clients, while gaining hands-on experience with complex cross-border and partnership structures. As part of a high-performing, growing team, you’ll build in-demand expertise, tackle sophisticated engagements, and accelerate your development in a supportive, fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Prepare U.S. corporate and partnership tax returns for multinational clients


•  Analyze complex cross-border tax issues, including multi-tier partnership structures


• Conduct tax research and contribute to technical analysis and documentation


• Support tax planning initiatives and help develop practical, client-focused solutions


• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills


• An analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous learning, including tax technology


• Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on quality and execution

Qualifications

• Tax Staff - 1 or more years of US Tax experience or a strong interest in learning US Tax


• Senior Tax Staff - 3 or more years of US Tax experience


• A degree in accounting, finance or related field

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience with corporate or partnership tax is an asset, but not required


• Plans to pursue or currently pursuing a US CPA or US Enrolled Agent designation
