ABOUT THE ROLE
As Cuso enters its 65th year, it is poised to launch a new national campaign aimed at raising awareness of Cuso’s work and engaging Canadians on important discussions regarding International Cooperation, International Aid, and Canada’s role in these spaces. This multi-channel campaign will encourage individuals, industry leaders, and community leaders to re-think how Canadians (and Canadian organizations) can support meaningful social change and equality around the globe.
This role requires a leader with a broad base of Communications, Public Engagement, and Fundraising experience who has strong project management skills, ability to motivate teams towards results, and is capable of integrating data-driven decision making with the creative needs of truly engaging national campaign.
Under the direction of the Director, Engagement, the National Campaign Manager will be responsible for managing campaign development, including messaging, audience segmentation, and strategic market placement. Once the campaign plan is in place, this role will be charged with leading a cross-departmental team to execute strategies, monitor performance, and recommend/implement strategic adjustments when necessary. The National Campaign Manager will ensure all team members are motivated to work towards shared goals which include: increasing Cuso’s overall brand awareness, engaging new supporters in Cuso’s mission and the importance of International Development, diversifying Cuso’s supporter base, as well as supporting sustainable funding towards Cuso’s innovative programs for generations to come.
A strong understanding of issues related to international cooperation, international aid, social justice, equity and building economic resiliency is an asset.
