Job Description - New Home Warranty Coordinator




Our client is well established General Contractor based in the Niagara Region.  With a recent new project award of a mid rise condo development in St Catherines, our client is adding a New Home Warranty Coordinator to this exciting project team!
 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Liaise with customers and residents from point of sale to close out and beyond

  • Manage the Quality Control Inspection (QCI) and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) processes with all residents

  • Coordinate all deficiency repairs with trades and warranty team to ensure swift completion of outstanding items

  • Respond to and provide immediate resolution to homeowner concerns; you will take ownership of customers issues and follow issues through to resolution

  • Act as first level of escalations from homeowners

  • Own the customer journey, experience and relationship from the point of post-sale onward through the life of the relationship

  • Collect, review, and schedule 30-day and Year-End Warranty Service requests and oversee the timely completion of all deficiencies

  • Use and manage punch list software and ensure trades and service staff track and monitor deficiencies through the system

  • Review and audit repairs completed by service personnel and trades to inspect quality of work and ensure all deficiencies are corrected and are up to the high standards of the company

  • Maintain and track customer communication through CRM

  • Participate in conciliation for identified warranty items as required at various sites

  • Attend Tarion seminars, Tarion Builder Update meetings, weekly construction meetings and attend home purchaser functions as required

  • Complies with legal, legislative and corporate safety requirements

  • Develop, compile and continually update, improve and maintain customer service procedures, policies and standards for the company

  • When not conducting QAS or PDI'S must assist customer service with administrative duties such as filing, data entry etc.
