Who We Are

TransEd Valley Line LRT is the first piece of the Valley Line project in Edmonton. Connecting Millwoods to downtown Edmonton, the Valley Line allows commuters to go from the South East of Edmonton to any where the LRT stops.

A typical day for the OCC Line Controller

• Working closely with OCC staff including Train Operators, Train Crew Supervisor and Duty Managers.


• Knowing the Operational needs of the Valley Line.


• Communicating with all stakeholders including TransEd staff as well as the City of Edmonton, ETS, etc.

What you will bring to the team

• Degree holder or higher diploma of post-secondary education in a related discipline.


• A minimum of 3 years experience managing a Station as a Station Master or Lead Station Master.


• Experience working within an Operations Control Centre as either an Information or Security Controller.


• Experience of working in a safety critical role within Railway Operations and of following procedures and instructions.


• Excellent verbal and written communication.


• Excellent organizational skills.


• A professional working attitude.


• Thrive working in a fast-paced, small team environment


• Be able to switch gears easily and handle multiple tasks at once


• Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills
