Office Clerk

Midland Transport is currently seeking an Office Clerk in our St John's Terminal, NL. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude. 

Contract timeline: Sept 15 to Dec 15

• Provide exceptional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Respond to customer inquiries and coordinate appointment requests.
• Complete driver check-in and employee time entry and support payroll administration.
• Ensure shipment documentation, scanning, and Proof of Delivery (POD) records are accurate and complete.
• Process reports of OS&D (Overages, Shortages and Damages).
• Maintain organized files, records, office supplies, and inventory.
• Support terminal leadership with reporting, data collection, and administrative tasks.

• Education Required: High School Diploma
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Problem solving ability with required sense of urgency
