Ready for a career glow-up? As Manager, Brand Marketing, you’ll be part of our Brand Marketing team, a highly collaborative group of influential integrated marketers. The work you do will impact beauty, as you roll up your sleeves and get in the kitchen with our 3rd party brands, advising on how best to invest marketing dollars to bring our clients what they crave – or will be craving soon. You’ll be part of a team that’s united in beauty, supported by those who are equally passionate about applying marketing insight and strategy against Sephora and brand objectives to develop marketing programming that keeps us growing and winning together.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the marketing partnership between Sephora and third-party brands within your assigned category portfolio
- Develop a deep understanding of Sephora’s integrated marketing capabilities and each brand’s business priorities
- Serve as a strategic advisor to brands, guiding them on how to win at Sephora through omni-channel marketing levers
- Partner with brands to prioritize marketing investments and resources to drive optimal performance
- Create go-to-market strategies for priority brand and product launches
- Build impactful partnership marketing programs, securing brand participation and co-op funding
- Develop and maintain annual brand activation calendars in collaboration with internal channel owners and brand partners
- Lead flawless execution of brand plans, ensuring timely delivery of all activation requirements
- Analyze and report on co-op program investments, delivering actionable insights and recommendations
- Identify growth opportunities and build compelling business cases for incremental marketing support
- Manage the co-op budget, including forecasting, tracking, and collections
- Build strong, reciprocal relationships across key partners including Merchandising, DotCA, Integrated Marketing, Media, Loyalty, Store Marketing, Events, Marketing Operations, Education, and Planning & Analytics
- Collaborate closely with U.S. counterparts to share learnings and best practices, ensuring a consistent and elevated brand service experience
- Play a key role in shaping and evolving the Brand Marketing service model in Canada
What You’ll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in brand or account management with strong omni‑channel, integrated marketing expertise, including digital and social
- Passion for the beauty category and/or retail environment
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
- Highly collaborative with an approachable style; an active listener who responds thoughtfully and constructively
- Data‑driven mindset, skilled at mining, triangulating, and translating data into clear recommendations and decisions
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to confidently present insights and recommendations to brands, cross‑functional partners, and senior leaders
- Persuasive storyteller, able to influence brands and clearly articulate the value of marketing investment
- Professionally mature, comfortable navigating sensitive brand conversations and handling confidential information with discretion
- Energized by a fast‑paced environment and managing a diverse, multi‑brand portfolio.
- Agile self‑starter and creative problem solver who thrives in ambiguity
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and prioritization skills, consistently delivering quality work against expectations
