The Role

BGC is looking for a Payroll Administrator to work with our team in the Vancouver office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, multinational organization with a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. In this role you will have the opportunity to learn and contribute to innovative process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full cycle biweekly payroll processing for 700+ employees


• Respond to all payroll inquiries


• Update employee changes within BST and ADP software 


• Assist with benefits administration and taxable benefits, in coordination with HR 


• Prepare workers compensation and other payroll statutory filings for all BGC jurisdictions 


• Run various reports as needed 


• Issue ROEs and respond to Service Canada requests 


• Assist in completing year end reporting requirements and reconciliations 


• Assist with other payroll duties, as assigned 

Required Education, Experience & Competencies 

• 1+ years’ experience in full cycle payroll, preferably in a related industry (Engineering or other professional services) 


• PCP designation from the National Payroll Institute or actively working toward completion is preferred


• Payroll experience with an organization of at least 200 employees 


• Familiarity with reconciling benefit provider statements 


• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel 


• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral 


• Experience with US or Australian payroll would be an asset 


• Experience with BST, BambooHR, ADP’s WorkForce Now would be an asset

The estimated base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. BGC's compensation package also includes an annual bonus, training allowance and a comprehensive medical and dental plan.
