Job Description - PHP Developers

Position overview?

Triumph Advertising is seeking full-time Laravel/PHP Developers to join their growing development team. The position involves working closely with the development team to build out core products such as lead generation funnels and CRM, or backend API services used for their businesses, using Laravel as the PHP framework. The software they build is primarily API-based, and the developer will help build and document API and web-based platforms to automate their current business processes.

The ideal candidate should have experience in web/API development in PHP, with expertise in Laravel or a similar modern LAMP stack framework, and building SaaS apps would be an asset. They should have experience in building REST APIs, working with test-driven development and software testing, and in SQL database profiling and query optimization. Additionally, experience in a Javascript framework (such as VueJS, React or Angular), as well as experience in AWS or as a SysAdmin, using Unix, Caddy, Nginx, Redis, MySQL, and Git version control is desired.

Tailwind experience is also preferred, and experience in an agile development environment is an asset. Strong verbal and written communication skills are important, and a positive attitude with experience working with non-technical team members is necessary. Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, Spree, ReactJS, and NodeJS would be an added bonus.
