The OT/PT functions as an integral member of the interprofessional healthcare team at the JH. They provide comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, and intervention services to patients. Working collaboratively with team members, they apply clinical expertise to maximize patients' functional independence, facilitate recovery, and support safe discharge and community reintegration.
1. Current Registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
2. Current knowledge and experience in the management of critically ill patients
3. Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking, communication, organization and problem-solving skills
4. Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborating with an interdisciplinary health care team
5. Evidence of patient centred approach to care
6. EPIC hospital information system experience preferred.

Operating within the Emergency, Medicine and Critical Care Program at the Juravinski, B3 critical care unit is a specialized unit caring for Cardiac, Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Hematology and Oncology patients. Our multidisciplinary and collaborative team approach is dedicated to the principles of patient and family-centred care and provides this support to patients in its 6 Cardiac Care beds and 9 Critical Care beds.
