The Plant Manager III, Material Recovery Facility (MRF) ensures the highest standards of environmental safety and operational excellence by effectively managing the day-to-day operations of the assigned MRF and maintains cost management within the MRF.
The successful candidate is a visible, hands-on leader who thrives under pressure, makes sound real-time decisions, and drives a strong culture of accountability, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.

A. Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement)
Preferred: Experience leading a team of 3-4 salaried employees including supervisors (as well as above required experience and education)

Normal setting for this job is: Plant (Material Recovery Facility), significant travel to Ontario and US facilities for training.
Pay: The expected base pay range for this on-site position in Etobicoke is $130,000 -$150,000. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for bonus. This position is not for an existing vacancy
