Powder Coating Finisher

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare parts for powder coating by cleaning and properly prepping surfaces
• Apply powder coating using a manual electrostatic spray gun
• Operate curing ovens according to required drying and cure times
• Inspect finished parts for defects, coverage, and consistency
• Perform routine quality testing and inspections
• Complete job-related time sheets accurately
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work flexible lunch and break times as required by production schedules
• Assist in other departments when needed
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to prepare parts for powder coating and apply coatings using a manual electrostatic spray gun

• Operate curing ovens according to required drying and cure times
• Inspect finished parts for defects, coverage, and consistency
• Perform routine quality testing and inspections
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and machinery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours per day
• High school diploma or equivalent; manufacturing experience is an asset
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is an asset
• 1 year of prior powder coating or industrial finishing experience
• Proficient in English
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Available to work the Tuesday-Thursday and Friday shift pattern required for the role

• Typical hours 6:30am – 5:00pm Mon-Thurs, Fridays and Saturdays as needed
