We are looking for a Shop Journeyman HET or Electrician Technician 2 Power  for our Service Center in Leduc, AB - a role that will help us to power progress for our customers.

What you’ll do:

• You’ll be based out of our Leduc, AB Service Center.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, compressors, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment

• Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and handle the repairs

• You will either be on your own or teamed up with other technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop

We’re experts, which means you’ll have the following skills and experience:

• High School diploma/GED

• Journeyman HET or Journeyman Industrial Electrician

• 4-7 years of experience working on Cummins, Volvo, or Jenbacher diesel or natural gas-powered generators and compressors, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs

• Experience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematics

• Valid driver’s license and Passport

• Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
