Production Supervisor

Princeton is located at the confluence of the Similkameen and Tulameen Rivers, just one hour from the South Okanagan and three hours from the Lower Mainland. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide strong and effective leadership, including performance management.


• Ensure safe and efficient coordination of production activities.


• Maximize production capability through technology and best work practices for continuous improvement.


• Achieve consistent safety, environmental, operational, and quality objectives by promoting and enforcing policies, rules and regulations.


• Ensure standards for housekeeping are maintained.


• Be an effective communicator with strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Three to five years of related supervisory experience, preferably in a unionized environment.


• Post-secondary education in Woods Products Manufacturing or Business Administration is preferred.


• Understanding quality and statistical process controls systems is desirable.


• Detail oriented, accurate, flexible and strives to meet deadlines.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

SALARY RANGE: We offer a competitive compensation package based on your skills and experience. The expected base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $105,000 per year.
